Old songs and new beginnings

Just a quickie to share this myspace link here for 2littlewhos. It comprises of some old songs I recorded in Wales with my friend Steve Williams. We're hoping to get together when I get back to England to do some more recording which is really exciting:D
Steve has another myspace page
here, which has some great tracks on it, please check it out if you get the chance.

Light and love xx

Hi forest dawdler, that sums a person up. are rice cakes the same as sticky rice? i think you must have a sweet tooth. after your invite to leave a comment i thought it would be churlish of me not to.

i like your daydream doodle. Rokuro Taniuchi has an innocence about his work, the lack of detail reminds me of Lowry. i was in Cardiff last year went to see an exhibition of impressionist paintings, sitting there looking at the Water Lilies i had a tear in my eye, such a beautiful work.

my fav Murakami is Norwegian Wood, Kafka on the Shore is good but some of his work is a little wierd.

where is Mitchell in your list of music artists. what about Vashti Bunyan, who i was listening to earlier, reminds me of your style. just checked out some of the other artists you list on myspace, nice. on my cd player at the minute, Susanna and her Magical Orchestra, also on myspace.

your local cafe looks a friendly place to relax. you can't find many places like that in the UK now. there used to be a cafe in Cardiff run by a gay couple who were BIG Shirley Bassey fans great place for a cuppa.

Good luck to you, tone

Hey Tone, yes, rice cakes (mochi) are sweet sticky rice, pounded until it forms a glutinous mass that can be really bloody hard to get off the plate it's so sticky! That's part of the fun though and that mochi pounding day was fab and happy:D I do have sweet tooth, is it that obvious?
I'm impressed you like Murakami, I have some friends who just don't read at all and I don't understand, I'd be quite lost without a god book on the go. I've heard that some of Murakamis work is pretty weird, I've not read Norwegian wood yet but it's def on my list. Have you read anything by Banana Yoshimoto? What a great name:)

I shall update my music artists immediately with Joni mitchell, there's lots of people I've missed off I think, I just do a bit at a time. I've heard the name Vashti Bunyan but I've not listened to her yet (or Susanna and her magical orchestra), I'll check them out.

Yeah, that cafe is great, I feel really at home there. There used to be a cafe I liked in Swansea with a good vibe - the heyokah centre, but it's all changed now. what happened to the Shirley Bassey cafe, sounds fun?!

I saw Monets waterlillies in Paris(alevel art trip) at the orangerie, a curved gallery space built especially for them so you feel like they surround you, they are fabulous paintings.

Thanks very much for leaving me a message:D xxx
